First and Foremost, Dr. Christine Schaffner does not currently offer free or paid services to anyone on the EU. Dr. Christine Schaffner does not have a EU representative, as required by Article 27 of the GDPR. Dr. Christine Schaffner is dedicated to privacy protection and staying GDPR compliant.

Product Purchases

When purchasing a product from us we will ask Users to provide information including their name, billing address, email address, credit card/payment details and account username. This information will be used to:

WordPress: Our site is built on the WordPress platform. When you sign-in as a user we collect personal information, including name, email address and any other information you elect to share at the time. This information is stored to improve your user experience and allow you access to specific areas of our website. You can delete your account at any time. Woocommerce: We facilitate the checkout process using Woocommerce. When checking out, some user data will be passed to Woocommerce, including name, email address, billing information, and purchase total. Please read the Woocommerce Privacy Policy for more information.

PayPal: We accept payments through PayPal. When processing payments, some user data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information. Please read the PayPal Privacy Policy for more details.

Infusionsoft: We email customers using Infusionsoft. When processing payments, a User’s name and email address will be added to Infusionsoft to be used when we send email announcements about product updates and relevant company news/promotions. Users may also be added to our email list if they explicitly give consent while filling out a contact form, or when entering an email address in exchange for a free report. MailChimp: The newsletter opt-in option on the contact form transmits the User’s email address to MailChimp. No emails are sent from this platform but are instead passed to Infusionsoft (see above). Please read the MailChimp Privacy Policy for more details.

Activity Log: This is a security plugin used on our website to protect against hackers. This plugin tracks who has logged into the site and records their IP address and any changes they made to the backend of the system. Please read the Activity Log Privacy Policy for more information.

Limit Login Attempts: A security plugin that limits the number of login attempts possible both through normal login as well as using auth cookies. By default WordPress allows unlimited login attempts either through the login page or by sending special cookies. This allows passwords (or hashes) to be brute-force cracked with relative ease. We may collect personal identification information from users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when users visit our site, send us a message from a contact form, place an order, subscribe to the newsletter, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site.
