Breathing is not something we tend to think about, mostly because we don’t have to. This autonomic reflex occurs in healthy adults whether or not we consider we are mindful of when we inhale or exhale. But utilizing structured breathing for chronic pain and changing your mindset are just a couple of examples of how you can use your own body to become pain-free.
