About Julie Conway

Glass artist Julie Conway is the founder of Illuminata Art Glass Design, which creates bespoke, large-scale illuminated hospitality glass installations for international hotels, restaurants, commercial development projects, & custom home lighting collections. Julie’s signature specialty is collaborating with architects, designers, and clients to create the perfect feature lighting design elements for interior spaces and hospitality design.

Her studio mission: “to bring more light and beauty to the world.” Julie has dedicated her studio practice by combining traditional glass techniques with contemporary lighting design aesthetic, to create her transcendent installations. Use of sustainable materials and eco-efficient processes such as melting recycled glass, and utilizing vegetable oil as fuel.

She is a co-founder of BioGlass.org dedicated to the education and process of eco-efficient glassmaking. She has always been passionate about her lighting sources and how light affects the room. Julie is now a rep for a new lighting product/ light bulbs that can now be ordered via her website Love Light Reset.
