The Beauty and Power of Sound Therapy | Moira Lo Bianc0 with Dr. Christine Schaffner
Whether it’s Mozart or Motown, music moves us all in different ways. It can soothe us or bring back a forgotten memory. It can be quite powerful and healing.
But on a basic level, music is just organized noise. Sound therapy deconstructs music into pure sound, using the ancient knowledge that sound can have a powerful effect on our emotions and our well-being.
In today’s episode, Dr. Christine Schaffner talks with Moira Lo Bianco about Sound Therapy. Together they explore what sound therapy is, how it works, and more importantly, why it works.,
Moira Lo Bianco facilitates deep listening experiences grounded in sound, helping the body and the mind to auto-regulate and restore balance. Moira holds certifications in Sound Therapy, Vipassana Meditation, and Yoga Nidra. She is also an accomplished musician, bringing her deep understanding of music to her sound work.
